Tips To Apply Efficiently

The recruitment process can be a challenging time for many people, this is why it should not be taken lightly. Even if it might seem like a tedious process, being capable of turning some tools to your own advantage will guarantee higher chances of success. Our Procedure

1. Application

Register on the website whether you wish to apply for an advertised role or just to register your interest.

The first step of the recruitment process begins once we receive your CV. You may apply for a specific vacancy we advertised on our website or on other job boards or you may also send us a speculative CV (without applying for any position). All you have to do is register on our website, so that you can upload your CV safely and edit your details later on. Once we have received your resume, we will be able to review it carefully and to get back to you should any positive news arise.

Your account is password controlled and you can update your details or upload your CV at any time.

2. Evaluation of your profile

Every application will be reviewed by a consultant to assess suitability for current and future roles.

Every day, fast’s consultants examine each new CV and make sure to contact candidates to know more about any missing information. The candidates whose profiles are closest to the requirements of our client will be contacted to arrange an interview, whereas other candidates’ profiles will be analysed and kept in our database for future jobs.

Our sophisticated recruitment software allows us to match jobs with suitable candidates if their profile is relevant to the position. Should we feel that your profile fits a particular vacancy, we will contact you and discuss the vacancy details with you.

3. Preliminary interview with fast

Should your profile be of interest, you will be invited to a fast first/update interview to evaluate your profile / suitability as well as discussing your career path.

If your CV is among those most relevant to the position advertised, fast’s consultants will invite you for an interview that will shed light on your education, your career to date and your aspirations. This interview will help our team to determine whether you hold the required skills and knowledge to complete the tasks that will be expected of you at our client, and will allow us to discover more about your personality and the way you work. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the position and the spirit of the company, so that you can appreciate if you feel this position would suit you.

4. Job proposal process

Suitable roles and client details are shared and discussed with you. Applications are only sent to clients with your approval.

Only after fast’s consultants have talked with each candidate and evaluated their profile will they be able to select the candidates who best correspond to the position. If you and our consultants agree that this is the right position and company for you, we will send your CV to the client. The client will then be able to analyse your profile in detail, based on the comments we sent them following our conversation with you. If they are pleased about your profile, they will contact us to arrange an interview and have a chance to meet with you in person.

5. Briefing with fast

You will be invited to a fast pre-interview discussion to ensure full and correct preparation is made prior to the client interview.

Throughout the whole recruitment process, fast acts as an intermediary between you and the company and assists you with many aspects of the process. As the job interview can be a stressful experience when you don’t hold all the necessary information to be fully prepared, we believe in briefing our candidates before they meet the client.

Our consultants will then have a talk with you to give you complementary information on the company and on the person you will be meeting, so you can come prepared and feel more comfortable during the interview. You will then have the opportunity to fulfil your potential and to meet the recruiter in the best conditions.

6. Job interview

The fast consultant will support you throughout the recruitment process; giving advice whilst remaining objective.

In the last step of the recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to meet the client and try to convince him/her. The client will want to discover more about your personality and to make sure you would really fit your new position. To do so, some employers will ask for several job interviews and/or technical tests.

Remember that fast will still be present for you in case you would need assistance or would have questions regarding those job interviews. In any case, come prepared and be confident, these are the best ways to leave your mark on the client!

7. Placement

Successful application leading to client and candidate, fully engaged for the future.

The recruitment process is completed once you have passed the job interviews and have been successful in convincing the client to hire you. fast will take care of the organisation of a meeting for you to sign your contract, and will be ready to help you should you have any query.
